Coaching Staff

Coach Abernathy started teaching and coaching in 1980. She played collegiate volleyball and basketball at Livingston University. She has coached softball, basketball and tennis all at the high school level. In 1994, she started coaching tennis at HHS and continues as the Head Coach of both the boys and girls programs. In the past 15 years, Coach Abernathy has produced 11 City Championships and or runner-up finishes, 12 Sectional Championships or runner-ups and 1 State Runner-up finish along with 9 finishes in the top 5.
